This massive chest is built in the fashion of the great Armour chests resting in the stone hallways of Scottish and English castles. Walnut veneer interior, full leather wrap exterior, and stunning hand forged Celtic style strap hinges and side handles with escutcheon plates. The coffered lid has interior forged iron lid stay, and the front face drops down (if you need) on iron hinges and iron chain. The interior can be customized for a variety of uses, including an antique long rifle or pistol cabinet, blanket chest, or possible TV cabinet. It can be used as a grand entrance piece (with painting above, sconces and chairs at each side), as a room divider, or at the foot of a King size bed.
